Ummm.... where do I even start...

I feel like there is so much I need to say, and yet so much of that is opinion that it might also not be completely necessary to include all of my thoughts, as the full thing would be far too overwhelming to anyone to read.

This was a lot of promise... and an underwhelming result.

I well and truly do not like being overly critical of most works. In fact, I am normally a very easy to please reader, and for the most part it shows.

This reads less like a well-polished novel, and more so like something off Wattpad or AO3...

The absolute number one thing that really began to grind my gears was the way the main character acted in such a snooty and narcissistic sort of fashion that the more I read the more I wanted to grab her by the shoulders, and semi-aggressively shake her to try to get her to come to her senses... add in the mix of the other somewhat problematic characters, and this was a really hard read for me to push through as a whole.... and the way the characters seem to act emotionally just seems ... rather dead instead of actually holding some form of relatable value...

Another thing that really particularly bothered me was the romance.... instead of being as clear and well-developed or letting some sort of buildup happen, we just plunge into an almost instant-love sort of deal... not to mention the consistent repetition of things that had already happened in the story again and again... this really was a lot to take in.

Perhaps with a little bit more refinement or thought, this could've been way more dazzling than it was... there is far too much clutter in its current state for it to be enjoyable for me... though perhaps its' audience waits somewhere out there in the vast universe.
