Vampire-born. Human-hearted. Destined to shatter the cycle.

The North Wind is finally on its last legs... dying, the last shattered remains of a once-flourishing rebellion.

And a truth is uncovered that might shatter everything that is known, and lead to all-out war...

Emelia is on her path to becoming the next Raven. She is heir to the throne and destined to rule over both vampires and humans. However, she is also different from any other Heir that has become Raven. Emelia, who also goes by Emily, is half-human. She walks between two worlds... and knows life both as a vampire and as a human. She understands the struggles of a human... and desires to change what has always been seen as the way of life... wanting to make the human way of life better...

And as she prepares to ascend as the next Raven.... a challenge is issued... and treachery brews once more...

This was the absolute perfect sequel to The Last Raven, and I absolutely adored seeing just how much Emelia has grown and developed to be who she is. There are beautiful twists and turns, and Helen really goes to show that even though Emelia is not like other vampires, she is strong, and she is more than capable of showing the world exactly who she is. Helen does such a fantastic job of wrapping beautiful complexity and imagery into her writing, and I thoroughly enjoyed The Raven's Court.
