First off, I adored the concept of a lone witch just trying to make do out in the world, and I did finish this novel relatively quickly within the span of two or three hours since I picked it up. It was short and sweet. The character relationships as well as the world is cute, relatable, and overall amazing.
However, I feel like the whole plot fell short to some degree, and it needed something to finish things up. I wanted the characters to feel more relatable, more plot, more story, and overall wanted more details of the world that this novel is occurring.
With what was lacking, this feels half-finished, or something that was a bundle of inspiration that leaves the reader yearning for more than what is provided. It could also definitely use a little bit more editing, as the random changes between third person and then back to first threw me off ALOT.
I received a copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
