The Deathmade Prince

I totally spent the last few minutes of my life staring at the wall, trying to process this story, and trying to process the fact that I'm going to have to wait for the next book in this series...
The Death-made Prince truly pulled all the plugs... creating a tale that pulled me in and had me flipping page after page for hours till I had reached the end.... the story of Thraga, and the unlikely pairing of the necromancer prince Durmain that slowly blossomed into something more than just your typical frenemy banter. The sass, the whitty banter, and the way that Thraga struggles with recognizing her anxiety and her doubts, along with her fears of her past catching up to her... it all drew me in so well and left me hungering for more with each page.
And let's not even get me started on how amazing the magic system is made in this book. Lisette has put so much love and so much detail into its creation... and then uses those very subtle details that she gave us in the beginning to create a stunning story... and the more and more I learned about Thraga, the more and more I related to her struggles in my own way.
AND THE COVER. LOOK AT IT.
I will now eagerly await book 2... because Lisette has absolutely knocked it out the park with book one.
