The Aftermyth

As someone who has always been a fan of mythology, and owns many different volumes referencing all sorts of mythology from Greek to Norse to the lesser known... I have to say, Tracy Wolff has beyond knocked this out of the ballpark...
When I saw the premise of The Aftermyth ... my brain was already intrigued and desired to know more... and going in blind was worth absolutely everything... for The Aftermyth is a deliciously creative mix of Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
The characters are full of life, with their own personalities, their own struggles, and their own relatable emotions... mixed with a hearty and delightful addition of banter to balance out the more emotional and deeper side of things.
And let's not even mention the world. Anaximander's Academy is so alive, and so lushly created that every detail seems to just add another level of delight to the story as a whole... the way the school is described, as well as the way that Tracy Wolff has clearly created this school with adoration and time... as its halls are something that I too wish I could walk in physically, and to be able to explore... added on top of the way the characters have been created...
Fast-paced, and an utter delight, The Aftermyth is a delightful whirlwind of a read, and one that I strongly recommend all to pick up.
