Love is a wicked game.

If you have been eagerly awaiting the finale of the Golden Court trilogy, this is everything you have wanted and so much more. It is satisfying, it is powerful, and it was the perfect way to end this absolutely stunning Trilogy.

War has erupted. And the Fate of not only humans but all of wolfkind rests on the scattered members of the Golden Court. A Heart of Crimson Flames picks up right after the events of A Sky of Emerald Stars. Now, Queen Calla must brace herself and those around her for conflict with the ruthless King Nero.

There is so much I could say and want to say, but overall this was a perfect conclusion to this trilogy. I did find at times that the "intimate" scenes did go into quite a bit more detail than I felt necessary, and the many POVs can be confusing to interpret between at the time, but A.K. clearly had her mind set on a certain path, and that intention is beautifully written.
